At Bulma's birthday party on a cruise liner, the God of Destruction Beerus, who was in search of the Super Saiyan God, got angry because he could not eat pudding due to Boo easting it all. After Gohan, Boo, and Gotenks were defeated by the god, Piccolo felt the need to use Makankousappou against Beerus, but Vegeta prevented him. He explained Beerus was the God of Destruction, the most powerful god, and no one in the universe dare to oppose him, shocking Dende and Piccolo. Bulma suddenly approached Beerus and slapped him for ruining her party, however Beerus retaliated. This enraged Vegeta and he attacked him. Vegeta was able to get hits on the god but he was unharmed. Beerus decided to destroy Earth because the Super Saiyan God was not present but Gokou appeared and asked for him to wait.[2]

Sometime later, Dende fixed the Seishin to Toki no Heya.[3] While Gokou and Vegeta were training in the Seishin to Toki no Heya, Dende and Popo were playing tennis.[4]
